Video Professor expands commitment to computer literacy with Native American Chamber of Commerce

Computer learning just became faster at Achievement Centers sponsored by the Native American Chamber of Commerce, the United States Department of Interior and other civic minded companies. Video Professor is donating VP Online accounts valued at $11,000 annually to current and future Achievement Centers according to John W. Scherer, CEO and Founder of Video Professor, Inc.

“20% of our population has little or no access to computing or using the Internet, that’s 60 million people,” says John W. Scherer, CEO and Founder of Video Professor, Inc. “Computer literacy is not only important to us as a company, but to all people regardless of their situation or where they live. Everyone should be allowed to learn about the world around them, and just as important, share their world as well.”

Video Professor became involved with the Achievement Centers by donating dozens of its regular CD-ROM based lessons. They were an immediate hit with students so both Video Professor and the Native American Chamber of Commerce decided to take computer learning to the next level with VP Online.

“The Native American Chamber of Commerce is absolutely delighted that John W. Scherer and Video Professor, have joined our Mission, bringing their cutting edge and very up to the minute technology to our Achievement Centers, and to American Indian People. Their own innate zeal for learning coupled with their beautiful passion for helping those who cannot help themselves are beyond admirable, it is the stuff of which modern day heroes are made,” says Carroll Griffin Cocchia, President/CEO, Native American Chamber of Commerce. “We can never thank Video Professor enough for the unbelievable opportunities they are offering all Native Americans.”

“VP Online, is the quickest and easiest way to learn computing,” says John Scherer. “You logon, and you’re learning within minutes. This will allow more students to learn faster at centers around the country.”
