Video Professor employees step up for kids and
Jeffco Action Center.

LAKEWOOD, Co. - For immediate release
Back to school time is here, and for many families in this tough economy it’s also a challenging time. Non-profit organizations like the Jefferson County Action Center and others like it around the country help fill the gap. They depend heavily on the donations and the generosity of companies and individuals.

Video Professor employees, through their Seasons club, once again stepped up donating a huge box full of school supplies along with $930 in cash to the Jefferson County Action Center. Jeffco expects to help out over 4,000 kids this year with back to school essentials.

“We know we can’t solve all the problems in the world by ourselves,” said Brian Olson, Vice President of Public Affairs for Video Professor and an active member of Seasons. “But if we all give a little,” he said, “together we can make a big difference.”

The school drive begins a busy season of giving for Seasons. Upcoming projects include the annual coat drive, Thanksgiving food drive and the Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program. Seasons club members also believe in having some fun along the way, usually involving food! The group plans a hot dog lunch for their fellow employees, then at Halloween comes the “legendary” potluck and costume contest.

“I urge any business to encourage their employees to do what Seasons does,” said Olson. “It’s great for team building, and above all, making a difference in your community.”
